Ahmad, a partner at the law firm Miller Thomson LLP, works closely with clients to develop and implement practical pre- and post-breach mitigation strategies. He advises on risk assessments, compliance, due diligence, risk allocation and security and data breach incident preparedness, and engages with regulators and law enforcement, providing representation in case of litigation. Ahmad sits on the Canadian Advanced Technologies Alliance's Cyber Security Council and is a member of the executive committee of the Ontario Bar Association's Privacy and Access to Information Law Section.
