"For starters, an Office365 move can cause an uptick in unwanted spam and email, which then requires a cloud-based email protection service," he says. "The second [concern] is making sure that that environment is configured correctly."

In a video interview with Information Security Media Group at RSA Conference 2019 in San Francisco, Wagner discusses:

  • Important considerations for email security;
  • Challenges with Office365 and cloud-based environments;
  • Future developments in email security and Zix's plans.

Wagner joined Zix as president and CEO in January 2016. He's also a member of Zix's board of directors. Previously, Wagner held leadership roles at Entrust for 20 years. Before joining Entrust, Wagner held various finance and accounting positions at Nortel Networks and at Raytheon Systems.
