DHS Responds to RSA SecurID Breach -- The Department of Homeland Security announced plans to work with RSA, to investigate what the IT security vendor characterized as an extremely sophisticated attack aimed at its SecurID two-factor authentication products.

Pay-at-the-Pump Card Fraud Revs Up -- Card fraud linked to pay-at-the-pump gas terminals in Arizona tourist spots picked up in March, as travel season gears up for spring. Tucson, Ariz., Police Sgt. Michael Garcia told a local TV station that pay-at-the-pump skimming has been on the rise since January, when Tucson police confiscated the city's first gas pump card skimmer.

ATM Security: 3 Key Vulnerabilities -- Skimming remains the top threat to ATMs worldwide, but certain regions in Europe and Latin America are also seeing rises in logical security breaches. Chuck Somers, vice president of ATM security and systems for ATM manufacturer Diebold Inc., says greater sophistication in the design of skimming devices and improved organization on the part of the fraud rings that launch the attacks is fueling the problem.
