ISMG Announces the Fraud Summit 2014 Series

Information Security Media Group (ISMG), publisher of InfoRiskToday, announces the Fraud Summit 2014 series; six one-day events to be held in San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto, London, New York, Orlando and Dallas.

After an acclaimed inaugural Fraud Summit in New York during October of 2013, ISMG executives prepared to take on the challenge of producing six unique summits that thoroughly showcase the top fraud trends in 2014.

The summits, sponsored by industry-leading companies such as ThreatMetrix, Verint and Easy Solutions, are the forum for experts to share practical insights to help combat the many forms of fraud impacting banking institutions. Attendees will hear from top experts in the industry, including attorneys, analysts, researchers and banking/security practitioners on topics ranging from account takeover to retail breaches, the mobile banking threatscape to banking Trojans. Confirmed speakers for upcoming Fraud Summits include Julie Conroy of Aite, Tim Webb of RBS Citizens Bank, Malcolm Palmore of the FBI and Randy Trzeciak of the Insider Threat Center at Carnegie Mellon University.

"The Fraud Summits focus exclusively on the top fraud trends impacting organizations and the mitigation strategies to overcome those challenges," says Tom Field, VP - Editorial, at ISMG. "Attendees enter these day-long sessions with questions, and they leave with new answers."

Other topics to be covered at upcoming Summits include the growing concerns about retail breaches impacting financial institutions, as well as the latest insights from ISMG's annual Faces of Fraud survey.

ISMG will be hosting its kickoff Fraud Summit in San Francisco on April 29 at the Marriot Marqius, followed by:

  • Chicago Fraud Summit- May 14, Westin Chicago River North
  • Toronto Fraud Summit- Sept. 17
